Lewis B. April is one of the founding members of the firm. He is the lead partner in the Plaintiff's Litigation practice group, and is responsible for handling all personal injury matters on behalf of the firm. Lewis has obtained settlements and jury verdicts in excess of seven figures. Additionally, he carries well over 31 years of defense experience. He practices in the areas of product liability, personal injury litigation, property damage litigation, motor vehicle accidents, fall-down matters, dog-bite incidents, elder and nursing home safety, employment and harassment claims, legal malpractice, fire losses, and the defense of architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and medical device manufacturers.
He is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, as well as being certified as a Trial Specialist by the American Board of Trial Advocates and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, president of the Vincent S. Case was settled for $1,975,000.Auto accident involving the death of a 69-year old woman and injuries to her husband, age 72. Case settled for $485,000.
