Well, you don't need ASP, but you will need some sort of server-side language. It could be PHP, perl, or any other language, but you will not be able to store data to a web form with plain HTML / JavaScript. That's just the way it works.. . Fortunately, server-side languages do not need to be complicated or expensive. It's quite easy to do this with PHP, for example. Of course, receiving the data is the first step. Then you need to do something with it. You can send it as an email, store it in a text file, or put it in a database. None of these are terribly complicated, but they do require basic understanding of programmng concepts.. . I cover them all in my book.
