• Jeff grew up in the Portland area in the Pacific Northwest and has resided in Oregon for more than 20 years. Jeff attended Western Oregon University and received his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. Jeff is a new member to the Oregon Bar, but he is not an inexperienced Attorney. Since 2008, Jeff has worked exclusively and diligently in criminal defense. Jeff began work for seasoned Attorney Mark C. you don't say what state you are in but in Texas, an agent is required to tell possible buyers that they represent the sellers when they show a property. They can represent both sides but it is in neither parties best interest for that to take place. You are not legally obligated to work with the selling agent. When you first met the selling agent, did he have you read and sign and information about brokerage services (IBS) form? This would have explained all you would have needed in that first meeting.
