My wife and I put our Virginia house into a trust some years ago. Last month we moved out and into a retirement community, and my only child wants to move in. Fine with us.. . However he wants to renovate before moving in and needs to borrow about $150k. We decided he has to borrow against the house, which he can't do because he's not an owner of the trust. (He is the beneficiary.). . We're thinking of either adding him to the trust or retitling the house to him. But the estate attorney who created the trust recommended against both ideas and offers no feasible suggestion. I'd consider giving it to him, but want to be sure that the taxes (gift, capital gains, etc.) don't hurt us too much.. . Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance..

"If i was prefect i would..."- this is not grammatically correct. Try- If i were prefect i would petition for longer recesses- 5 minutes perhaps.. . "leadership"- spelling mistake. . I don't understand the wording of the next sentence.. . We could do this by..... don't start with "By....". . "For example have a school colors day does not make sense (grammatically). It's "For example we could have a school colors day". . "If i become prefect i would", not "if i became prefect i would"..

You can save the money for a lawyer. You are not going to keep a greencard if you want to use it as a tourist visa. If you have a greencard you will need to live at least 6 months every year in the US. You also need to maintain a place to live and other obvious ties to the country. Otherwise they could easily decide that you have abandoned your greencard and take it from you.. . If you want to come as a tourist, try to get a tourist visa. Much cheaper. If you are from a visa waiver country you don't even need that. You are not allowed to work on a tourist visa, but apparently you don't want to do that.. . In order to ask a lawyer meaningful questions you need to tell the lawyer on what basis you want a greencard, the most common types are through close family or through employment.

I'm assuming this is in the US, but I never heard of aberration as a legal term.
