No, you cannot pick and choose what information you would like your current landlord to disclose.. . What you can do is explain the situation beforehand to prospective tenants. I would tell them that one of the reasons you are moving is because the older building you lived at has paper-thin walls and everyone can hear everything. With this in mind, and prospective landlords will at least partially dismiss anything your current landlord might say about the noise complaints. If not, I wouldn't worry about it
