Most are. Some are not. Again, a lot depends on personal circumstances and events. You will find this to be the case in the USA also. Same for England, France, Japan, Switzerland...... . NO system is perfect. The problem with the US system is that there are too many lobbyists, interest groups, and other such trouble makers.

Forms within most of the MS-Office applications are usually created through the use of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). But it can also mean different things depending upon which particular Office product you are using.. . For example in Excel, Forms could refer to Templates that are made to work in a preset manner. Or it could be the option available from the DATA menu when you select FORM..., which can generate a built-in data form for your list. The data form displays all of your column labels in a single dialog box, with a blank space beside each label for you to fill in data for the column. You can enter new data, find rows based on cell contents, update existing data, and delete rows from the list.. . To fully discuss Forms with the various MS-Office products would take several pages of documentation.

There is a saying in the law - the plaintiff is a master of the complaint (paraphrased) - and so they generally get to choose where to file. If you can get the company to agree to move the case to Chicago, closer to you, you'll have better luck in front of the judge. I couldn't imagine the judge will care very much if you submit a motion for venue change and the other party doesn't oppose it.. . As far as your first question: really the only thing you can do is submit the evidence you have, including any testimony of others you may be able to find (within the rules of evidence used by the state court system there). If the case went to trial you just put forth the best evidence you can find. Of course, something like this will usually settle well before you get to the discovery phase. If you did go all the way to that phase, you would be able to request their records from 8 years ago. I'm really not sure what the law is for how long they would have to keep this, but if their records are incomplete you might have something to fight back with. One thing you could try is to show a decrease in deposits to your bank account (the normal paycheck deposits) by a set amount over the course of the time you were paying off the loan. This is just circumstantial but it is better than nothing.. . I'll be honest with you, the amount in question is only $2,500 and they are likely willing to settle for less than that. You will probably spend far more than that on various costs (including time and lawyer fees) to take this through the court system. You'll need to decide how much you want to spend in order to defend something more on principle than economic rational.
