Dont you just hate it when someone doesnt train their dog properly?! I have a beloved friend who has a Shih Tzu and is completely non- trained! And its driving me nuts! I keep telling her that he's the dominant dog over all of them, and that she should be top dog, but she wont have it! She believes that he is just being cute! Scratching the floor with his hind legs, owning the couch, walking in front, and growling when he doesnt want them near isnt cute! Why do people get dogs even though they've done no research?! Owning a dog requires research on the breed! And he's not even fixed! He has sired so many litters I lost count! Does she want her dogs pups to die!? They might end up in the pound anyways!. If she wants her dog to be the best dog in the world, I keep telling her to become the dominant one!. And, get this, whenever he pees or poops inside, she rubs his nose in it! It sickens me! You are NOT supposed to do that! It doesnt teach him anything! Only to ingest stuff like that in the future! But again she wont listen! Now its getting on my nerves. She also hits him when he does something bad. Its not his fault! He doesnt know what good or bad. He was never trained properly. :'(. So this is where you come in. I need help. I want to tell her what she is doing is wrong. But whatever I write isnt good enough. Could you guys help? I need a persuasive letter to tell her off. To tell her to change her ways of "punishment". Thnx. Rocky- I LIKE YOUR STYLE! I never thought of it like that! You've opened my eyes to a whole new world!. I'm a Christian, and in so, I believe that evolution is total crap! I knew that wolves and dogs were two different species to begin with from the beginning, I just never knew that the whole dominance thing was pointless. I still like walking my dog beside me though. It gives me more control over her actions that way. =). I am so grateful for your info! Thank you!!!!!! <3.
