This is a classic acid-base reaction, where you form a salt and water.. . 2HBr(aq) + Ca(OH)2(aq) ? CaBr2(aq) + H2O(l). . Because the salt remains in aqueous form, there is no net ionic reaction. The only net reaction occurring is the formation of water (the phases change, resulting in a new, undissociated product).. . The net equation, therefore, is H^+(aq) + OH^-(aq) ? H2O(l)

Hi,. . Since you have been "officially" diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis then you already know that this condition is hard to get rid of, but it's not impossible.. . In your specific case I would go in a slightly different direction - Concentrate on recovering from your foot pain instead of finding the right shoe (Of course the correct shoes and inserts are part of that recovery).. . In order to help you in the best way possible please answer these short questions:. . 1) Do you have any pain in your heel?. 2) Do you have high arches or flat feet?. 3) What kind of shoes you usually wear around the house / when not on duty?. 4) Do you have pain especially after rest or after a night sleep?. 5) Is there any redness or swelling visible?. 6) How long have you had this problem. 7) What was the last time you have seen a Doctor about this condition?. . Here are things you should do to improve you condition.. . 1) Ice your heel and arch at least 4 times a day - easiest method is to sit down and roll a frozen bottle with your foot, do this 20 minutes for each foot.. 2) Stretch! - stretch your legs and feet, especially before getting out of bed in the morning or after sitting for more that 15 minutes. 3) Massage your heel and arch, it may be painful in the beginning but it will help with circulation and allow the body to heal itself. 4) Avoid walking whenever possible, this is a "biggie" try to rest your feet by sitting down a lot.. 5) Be patient and consistent - It is important to be persistent with these activities and it takes time to recover.. . Now to answer your question directly:. . 1) I recommend that you have custom made orthotics - that are "tailored" to your specific foot type, these are the best option really, I wouldn't buy "off the shelf" products in your case.. 2) Your shoes should be wide and comfortable, and believe it or not, having a 1 or 2 inch heels can also relieve some of the pain because it stretches the Plantar Fascia.. The brand is not really important as long as it's well made (New balance or other known brands are excellent).. . I really hope this helps, don't hesitate to contact me if you need further advise - My email is in my Yahoo profile.. . Take care and good luck!
