• FRANCINE WEISS has served as Of Counsel with KCNF since 1992. Ms. Weiss received her education at: University of California at Berkeley (B.A., with honors, 1971) and Loyola University of Los Angeles (J.D., 1974), where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review. Problem is, the lawyer didn't really tell the mom what should be in this letter, and due to patient confidentiality I can't call the lawyer to ask (without getting a form signed by the mom, which I don't have time to do because the lawyer wants the letter Wednesday morning). . Does anyone have any tips for me? Maybe written something similar before? I tried to find templates/recommendations online, but no luck. To be honest I don't even know what specific type of visa they're applying for, because mom speaks only Spanish, so I know only her explanation of what they're trying to do, not the specific visa type. (Dad speaks English though, and mom is taking English classes, so please no comments about how they need to learn English to stay in this country - I speak Spanish so they speak in Spanish to me). . Any help with this letter would be greatly appreciated! I'm kinda stuck on what to put in it besides an explanation of their therapies and disabilities.. Just to clarify, I don't actually know that they're here on a work visa - the mom just told me that they were here working on a temporary visa - She explained it in Spanish so I don't really know what kind it is. They are hoping to change from some sort of temporary visa to some sort of permanent visa. I myself know absolutely nothing about visas and imigration, so I have no clue what kind they have, I just know her explanation of the situation. And the children do in fact have severe disabilities..
