  • More than 30 years ago, George Martin set out opening his firm with one clear goal: to defend and protect injured workers. Today, Martin?LLC is one of the few firms in Pennsylvania that restricts its practice to representing injured workers and the disabled in workers' compensation and Social Security Disability matters. The trial lawyers of the Firm have litigated the full spectrum of workers' compensation and Social Security Disability cases.

The Firm is committed to meeting the needs of injured workers and the disabled by offering the most comprehensive legal representation and service available. Each litigating attorney has a full staff support team to ensure quality service and the best possible result that will protect both the claimant and their family. In addition, the Firm has the most sophisticated technology, when in combination with extensive human resources, enables the attorneys and staff members to immediately address questions and concerns from clients and referral sources.

Martin?LLC employs a results-oriented approach to workers' compensation and Social Security litigation. The Firm's attorneys, with more than 200 years of combined experience, continue to meet the challenge of dealing with these dynamic issues, yielding the best results for their clients. Their experience allows them to successfully compete with large employers and defense firms in order to reach a timely and positive outcome.

Martin?LLC?has built its reputation on consistent, high-quality legal work and top-notch service. We remain steadfast to the mission George Martin began with in 1979: to defend and protect injured workers.

Litigation

You would have to go through the court or before a judge and request for change in last name and once that is done, you will be given certificate of change and then you submit that with new application for passport. Good luck

My fiance and I are moving to the Emerald City soon. By soon, I mean 116 days (we're counting down). I can give lots of good reasons as to why we're moving, but it's a definite YES that it's going to happen, as soon as the day after Thanksgiving this year. . We're both getting into our late 20's and want to start our lives somewhere different. We are pretty rural people, coming from small towns in New Hampshire. We would prefer the countryside over the city but there is a lot we need to do in and around Seattle, so closer the better. We're looking for a region to live that can give us some sort of view of nature, whether it be right next door or in the distance. We'd rather not be in a completely urbanized environment. We have two large golden retrievers and plan on getting more dogs in the future ... I'm living with a dog trainer, what do you expect. :) We also have cats, so it's safe to say we need a pet friendly place. We also need space, but that doesn't necessarily mean a 3,000 square foot home. We'd suffice with 800 at this point (or lower if we had to). We're living in a smaller area right now so it wouldn't be much different.. We are evening job people, as we are still going to college during the day for a number of years coming. We would rather not commute long distances, but I know the transit system around Seattle isn't the best and the freeways can get packed.. So, all that said, we need to find a small and decent home near Seattle that gives a nice little glimpse of the country, but gives a decently shortly commute to school or work. For me that's Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA right on Lake Washington, and for my fiance it's University of Washington, Seattle Campus. In terms of jobs, I'm already a massage practitioner in New Hampshire and plan on renewing my licensed in Washington, and she's a professional dog trainer. But I guess I'll save job questions for another post sometime soon.. I'd like to note that one of our options, aside from renting a decent place that allows dogs, is finding property to purchase, but we wouldn't want any less than 1 to 2 acres, so I know that can't be too urban.. Thank you for any advice you can gives us as to where to move.. Thank you for the answers so far. A little commute won't hurt us, but we just enjoy our rural lifestyle. However, if you know of any good suburban places where we could rent a decent house or a good size apartment that allows dogs, that's good enough for us too. We'll be moving during the holiday season. Not the best time I know, but our only real choice for the time being..

I already have changed my name with Social Security two days ago. When can I legally start using my new name? Considering it has not been changed with the DMV yet. Thank you! :).

you and your mother can petition to have the power of attorney changed. she placed them in the position in the first place, why the change now? power of attorney for someone is a huge responsibility and alot of stress!
