• Michael Templeton's practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters, including cases involving contract disputes, construction, debt restructuring, lender liability, the FCPA, energy regulation, insurance, and mass tort litigation. He has served as litigation counsel in a number of bankruptcy cases and restructuring proceedings and also has represented clients in toxic tort litigation, product liability cases, and in matters involving environmental claims.

  Michael is currently representing Texas Instruments (TI) in Delaware Superior Court in defending personal injury claims alleging that workplace exposures to chemicals in TI's semiconductor manufacturing facilities caused birth defects in its employees' offspring.

  He also has assisted in the Firm's representation of IBM in defending personal injury, property damage, and medical monitoring claims related to allegations of groundwater contamination and vapor intrusion.

  Michael previously represented IBM in the defense of 22 multiple plaintiff actions alleging that chemical exposures at IBM semiconductor manufacturing facilities caused cancers and other diseases in IBM employees or caused birth defects in their offspring. This litigation involved detailed expert disclosures and complex motion practice, including defense motions resulting in: dismissal of many plaintiffs' cases as time-barred; dismissal of certain claims as barred by workers' compensation exclusivity; dismissal of preconception tort claims; exclusion of other birth defect cases that plaintiffs sought to introduce on causation issues; determination that the federally required CERCLA commencement date did not apply to plaintiffs' claims; appellate decision that birth defects allegedly caused by paternal exposure were not actionable; and dismissal of certain plaintiffs' claims based on their failure to submit evidence of exposure to harmful doses of chemicals.

  Michael also represented IBM in California litigation by employees alleging personal injury claims and assisted in the defense victory against the plaintiffs (In re San Jose IBM Workers Litigation).

  Michael's other significant representations include: Nextel Communications in litigation involving Nextel's merger with Sprint Corporation, including defending Sprint Nextel's new brand against injunction claims by an affiliate of Nextel; Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in injunction proceeding involving a multimillion dollar letter of credit dispute; Metaldyne Corporation in litigation proceedings in its chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding; South Carolina Electric & Gas Company in resolving an adversary proceeding brought against it by Columbia Energy LLC, a debtor in the chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding filed by the Calpine Corporation and related entities; Clark Enterprises and Clark-Fitzpatrick Construction in resolving actions against New York State for recovery of highway construction costs by Clark Construction; Stone & Webster Management Consultants in insurance coverage litigation; Trans World Airlines in defending actions filed against it involving contract disputes, debt defaults, collateral foreclosure proceedings, and aircraft leasing disputes; TWA in its chapter 11 bankruptcy in adversary and appellate proceedings, including the trial of a preference action on behalf of TWA resulting in a $14 million recovery; The Loewen Group in litigation in connection with its defense against a hostile takeover attempt; Maybelline in its antitrust clearance and DOJ approval for its acquisition by L'Oreal; the Creditors Committee in the Drexel Burnham Lambert chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding including claims investigation work regarding Drexel's pre-bankruptcy business and financial transactions.

Cost for condo in Denver?

Salutation. If you are writing a personal letter of reference, include a salutation (Dear Dr. Smith, Dear Mr. Jones, etc.). If you are writing a general letter, say "To Whom it May Concern" or simply don't include a salvation.

After applying for a for a morgage we got a copy of our credit reports. My mother and I had almost the same name before I got married. The only difference was middle name her's was Kay and mine is Fay. Well my credit report is 19 pages long full of stuff that doesn't belong to me. It has my mother's employer on there, her bank ruptcy, her house loan, car loans, medical bills. How do I go about fixing this problem?.

I am so confused with this. I know there is a difference of working tax credits and child tax credits. Usually both incomes would be about ?30K. My wife now is on maternity pay so is the Child tax credits based on the previous year or the current estimated earnings as they are much lower. The reason why I am confused is because on the application form they are asking for previous years income which really don't count as they are not accurate for the current year. Can you advise? I have tried to call the helpline and they are confusing things even more.. Thanks for your help.

I've heard of a Advance Health Care Directives. I'm going through some testing to find solutions to my problems with brain function.. . Has anyone done one of these directives? I know it's to ensure my wishes. I just want to know from someone who has one..

i want my son to be adopted by my boyfriend of 2 and 1/2 years but i dont know how to go about it. i went to the court houe and they said they dont do that considering it wouldnt be a case secse their is no fother listed so they cant fight a case agenst no one. so i was told to call land of lincoln and they said they dont do it either. I am worried about my son when i die and all you can do is make fun of me for being dyslexic?. please keep your rude comments to your self!.
