• Carolyn obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Literature of Religion from Northwestern University in 1978. Her two years as manager of copyright control for a major book publisher (then Harcourt Brace Jovanovich) in New York City after college fueled her interest in law that had begun with a mock trial in high school. After moving to Los Angeles, Carolyn decided to pursue the career that had been nagging her for years. She graduated from Southwestern University’s SCALE program – a two-year program that focuses on a conceptual approach to law – in 1987. A judicial externship at the state court of appeal at the end of her second year sealed her fate – it was an appellate career she wanted.

  In her nearly two decades with GMSR since that time, Carolyn has written over 500 briefs, petitions and motions. She has argued before every district of the California Courts of Appeal, as well as the California Supreme Court. Carolyn regularly works on medical malpractice and public entity defense cases, but has handled a wide variety of other matters involving landlord-tenant disputes, construction contracts and injuries, employment disputes and civil rights.

  Carolyn lives in Beverly Hills with her husband, daughter, two stepchildren and a dog named Sally. Between writing briefs and driving kids around, Carolyn makes time for knitting, crocheting, sewing, jewelry-making, reading and, of course, shopping.

Ok. Here's the deal. I'm 17 and about to be a senior in high school. I know that I want to be a real estate agent and after college I would like to work at Coldwell Banker in Malibu. In college I plan on majoring in business. But what about now? What can I do now that will help me to become the best real estate agent is Southern California? I would like to do something so that I'm not just wasting time, so that I can really get a jump on my career..

If the model did not sign a model release form that limits the way the photos can be used, the photographer can use those photos wherever and however he or she wants. The photographer always owns the copyright to the photos and can use them anywhere UNLESS they agree to limitations set by the model and are in a model release form signed by both parties. . Do you have anything in writing saying that you an choose the photographs of your choice? If not the photographer can give you whichever photos he wants. He owns the photos, not the model and can decide which photos he wants the model to use. You can't sue over this - especially if no payment exchanged hands. You would only be able to sue IF you were paying for photos and the agreement/contract stated that YOU got to choose the photos

Can anyone help me with a cover letter?

I was wondering where I can get a free basic contract template.. . I need the contract to state that I recieve a percentage of income that my clients recieve for performing.. I dont know how to word it to make sure it protects both of us from either ripping the other one off. Any ideas?. Cannot afford all my bills right now so no way can I afford a lawyer.
