• David M. Marcus is one of the firm's founding partners. With over thirty years of experience, his practice focuses on Real Property, Business and Commercial Litigation, General Business Transactions, and Title Insurance Claims and Litigation.

  Mr. Marcus has extensive trial experience in both state and federal tribunals. He is involved in all aspects of real estate litigation and has widespread experience in law and motion practice, including first-chairing over 100 trials, drafting motions for summary judgment, taking and defending depositions, arguing before courts on pre-trial law and motion matters, and negotiating settlement agreements.

  Mr. Marcus recently authored "Encroachments and Boundaries," Chapter 2 in Neighbor Disputes: Law and Litigation (CEB 2014). He has been featured multiple times as a presenting panelist for the Continuing Education of the Bar, and serves as Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Mr. Marcus was additionally nominated and served as Vice President of the State Bar of California Board of Governors, and as Co-Chair of the Title Insurance Subsection of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Real Property Section. He is an active member of both the Real Property and Law Practice Management groups of the California Bar.

  Mr. Marcus received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, graduated from Loyola Law School, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in November of 1979.
