Needing legal advice regarding my grandmother. Starting off my grandmother is an strong willed woman living in an nursing home. My uncle who has power of attorny does live almost 200 miles away. Since my mother died a few years ago he had become sole person for her whole estate. But the MAN hasn't done nothing to keep things together. Again since my mother past he had promised numerous times to move my grandmother to maryland from ohio, which all had been now over two years. My story can go on and on but my question mainly is. "Could I take him to court to determine his power of attorney rights?" Things are not right and being the daughter of an woman who proved time and time again that she could handle my grandmothers belonging. Truth is I dont want to worry about my grandmothers money.. I just dont want to see her die in an nursing home. Whatever it takes I want to be able to provide for her..
