• Terence L. Kindlon has practiced as a criminal defense lawyer in New York's capital city since 1974. He began his career as an assistant public defender and entered private practice in the late 1970's. Over the years Terry has defended many people charged with serious crimes and has tried more than 175 felony cases to verdict. Additionally, he has maintained an extensive appellate practice.

  Certified in capital defense, he has zealously represented a number of men facing the death penalty in both state and federal court. One of the founding members of at the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Terry has served as a lecturer for that group as well as for the Criminal Justice Section of the Criminal Justice Section of the New York State Bar Association.

  Among the professional awards Terry has received are the New York State Defenders Association Service of Justice Award, the New York State Bar Association's David S. Michaels Memorial Award for Courageous Efforts in Promoting Integrity in the Criminal Justice System, the Thurgood Marshall Unity Award by the NAACP Oneonta Area Branch, the Disabled American Veterans Certificate of Appreciation for the DAV Vietnam Veterans Outreach Program and a Commendation from the Veterans Administration Vet Center for Legal Assistance.

  Terry has received the Martindale Hubble AV rating (highest ratings for Legal Ability and General Ethical Standards) and has also been selected for inclusion in "New York Super Lawyers" for the past several years.

  During the War in Vietnam Terry served in the United States Marine Corps. He was medically retired as Sergeant as a result of serious wounds received in combat in Quang Tri Province during the Tet Offensive of 1968. As a result of his actions, Terry received the Purple Heart medal and was awarded a bronze star with a combat "V" for valor.

  Terry resides in the Capital District, flies a twin-engine Cessna 340 and is an active volunteer pilot with Angelflight NE.

In math class, my teacher was talking about taxes and he said that it anyone wants to try, we could create our own tax plan and it'll count as extra credit. So what do I include in this tax plan? What is everything the government taxes?. I have. - income tax. - estate tax. - payroll tax.

My grandma is 81 and living in Florida...I am in Michigan. My grandma has been having strokes and she's in the hospital again. From what I hear my sister lives in Florida as well and my grandma is not getting proper treatment...my aunt...(my grandmas daughter) and her b/f have cashed in a $60,000 CD and they have put her house and car up for sale already! I don't know how much time she has left but the doctor my grandma has is my aunts friend! He doesn't even specialize in strokes....he's for internal medicine....We have a strong feeling like they aren't even trying to help her...she's got bedsores and on no meds. What can I do??? I'm desperate! I just can't believe my aunt could be doing this to her. I need to know our rights and her rights and who I can contact. I have no idea what to do . PLEASE help! Thanks!.

This is my first time writing a children's book. I intend to send it to a publisher. I have found a publisher that is accepting unsolicited manuscripts but they require a cover letter. I have no idea what or how to write one of these. I don't have any prior experience, so that even makes it more difficult to write this cover letter. Any help or samples would be great! Thanks for the help.. This is what they require: A cover letter introducing myself and experience, a summary of the story, and three chapters.. Also, the submission has to be made via email and I have searched on there website and I don't see the editors name. Is including their name a must on cover letters?.
