Here's the thing: My name is Laura Alice En*******. It's a pretty name and all, and my Grandma named me, it was her middle name(Laura) and her mom's name (Laura Alice) but after all these years, I just don't think it suits me. I'm fond of it and everything, but I've decided 'Rin' suits me better. It means dignified in japanese, or bell too. I don't want to disrespect them, but...Please don't say 'wait until you're 18' or something like that. I'm sorry, but I don't want that right now.. I wouldn't be intending to get rid of it completely. I would just move Laura as a middle name, and then Alice as my second middle name. Rin would be my first name, all while keeping the original name I had, but in a different form.. It's not like I would actually pronounce it 'Reen' like in Japanese. I would pronounce it like anything else english. :D.
