• Dawn Foster is an associate in the Insurance Defense practice group. Ms. Foster works on a vast array of tort matters ranging from construction site accidents, complex premises liability issues, nursing home litigation, clergy misconduct, and sexual abuse and negligent supervision of minors in residential care and treatment facilities.

  Ms. Foster's representation has also been instrumental in the dismissal of numerous lawsuits asserted against major universities. Of particular note, she defended a prestigious university in Bronx County and was successful in dismissing plaintiff's potential multi-million dollar claim under notice and trivial defect theories. She then briefed and argued the matter before the Appellate Division, First Department that affirmed the Supreme Court's grant of summary judgment.

  Ms. Foster is also well versed in emerging issues involving social media and litigation.
