As many people will recall - Gonzales, when asked about the legal status of his family - responded by saying that he did not know the status of three of his grandparents, but did know - or so he says - that one of his grandparents was an American citizen.. . This is an extremely defensive and evasive response from the sitting attorney general of the united states - whose job it is to enforce all the laws of the USA - including immigration laws. Likewise, it is extremely evasive to proffer this as the only answer- when in fact, we are not asking which boat from Spain carried his ancestors to our shores, rather we asking if his family were and are, indeed, legal citizens of the USA. for him to respond with such chuckle and laugh misdirection - is, in and of itself - tantamount to an admission that he, in all actuality, is one of the more infamous "anchor babies" of our times. after all - Alberto Gonzales, one of 8 children - alleged to have been born in Humble, Texas of poor migrant workers - is the person who provided us with the information re the unknown status of his 3 grandparents - but failed to even comment on the status of his own parents. when pressed - he offers that there are no documents available. Unbelievable? Indeed, yes!!. . As the attorney general of the USA - he has unfettered access to every document pertaining to every person in the USA, as well as those under the jurisdiction of the USA. a simple check of the birth records in Humble, Texas or those filed with the county or the state - should be more than adequate to obtain the information he seems to go to great lengths to hide. So why is it that the press and the media that asked the question don't pursue these simple avenues of investigative reporting and request a search of the records? Why? Because such data is not available - and like the MEChA boy Fabian Nunez - the speaker of the California general assembly - who has had a similar rise to political power - no records can be found, or at least obtained by the general public. it's as though the seal of the "confessional" were placed on their records.. . I suspect - that such behavior - in response to a simple question asked of a supposed highly intelligent individual - is indeed, intended to camouflage facts that otherwise might point toward deliberate subterfuge and deception. Why else and for what other reason - would our attorney general have for playing the role of a "dummy" or an ignoramus regarding the birthplace and legal status of his immediate parents and grandparents? As I said - the question does not require him to name the first cousin of his ancestors who accompanied Cortez, rather, a response to a simple question was anticipated. yet, the attorney general of the USA - a Bush appointee from them good ole boy days in Texas - could not or would not answer a simple question re the legal status of his immediate genealogy.. . His unusual association and relationship to this president, and perhaps to the bush family - raises questions about his own legal status - and perhaps shines the light on why it is that he refuses to enforce the laws of the USA - especially immigration laws - and why he adamantly, in every case - takes the side of the illegal invaders within our nations borders. Is he - a former real estate lawyer - serious about his oath of office - or is he an insider within the Bush camp and family? Does he really view his constitutional duties within the framework established by our founders - or does he apply his dictum that the constitution is an outdated piece of paper - when it comes to protecting the citizens of the USA from the encroachment of illegal alien invaders?. . Most importantly, however, is the question: is it his own questionable legal status or that of his immediate parentage that causes him to perpetuate the violation of our immigration laws - in favor of, and in support of - 15 to 20 million illegal aliens and the millions upon millions of anchor babies born of illegal alien parents?. . Will we ever know for sure why it is that Alberto Gonzales - the attorney general of the united states - a one time real estate lawyer from Texas - works so hard to lend credibility to the presence of illegal aliens and their anchor babies - in obvious contravention of our laws and in direct violation of his oath of office?. . It is not enough to say or support a position that undermines our rule of law and the civil liberty's of all legal American citizens and immigrants - simply because Bush and this attorney general have decided that such action is in the best interest of the USA. Such rhetoric and unbelievable misrepresentation of the law works against the very justice system that is intended and meant to protect the citizens of the united states. To be sure - this president and this attorney general and many more of their ilk - have entered into a mindset that will undo the basic constitutional protections of American citizens and legal residents by extending such guarantee's to those who have violated our laws and who continue to collectively work toward the destruction of our constitutional republic.. . In all of this activity - replete with its scheming and deception
