• Jiny Kim's practice focuses on complex civil litigation in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions. She is experienced in coordinating dual-language filings in the U.S. and foreign jurisdictions at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in international arbitrations and foreign criminal investigations. Her work also includes discovery in U.S. and foreign jurisdictions and managing foreign language review teams. She is currently part of a legal team representing a U.S. corporation in litigation before a foreign court.

  Jiny's pro bono experience includes work on behalf of asylum applicants from El Salvador and Guatemala.

  Prior to law school, Jiny served as the policy director of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association where she collaborated with legal practitioners, legislators, and policy advocates on issues of equal access to legal representation, education, and the voting booth. Earlier in her career, she managed the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, advising then-chairman Congressman David Wu on legislation and the policy agenda for the 118-member bipartisan caucus. She also previously served on the campaign staff of Congressman Xavier Becerra.

  Jiny currently serves as co-chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She has previously served on the boards of the Korean American Coalition's DC Chapter (as vice president for programs) and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Staff Association (as vice president).
