You will sit in front of a judge and he will ask your reasoning. If it's a valid reason, then he will grant permission.

The high number of job-seekers right now means that even employers that once would be in the habit of responding to every application with some sort of reply are now unable to do so. It requires a lot of work to follow-up with every applicant. I know it feels frustrating, but try not to take it personally.

words don't seem to be fluid anymore and whatever I come up with, it ends up being rather shabby. I can't express myself properly anymore - words just run across my mind in an abstract manner and I find myself unable to link them. It feels like a dada storm.. . How can I get out of this state of impediment and general mental breakdown? I wouldn't stand seeing my dreams shatter because of this momentary decadence. I'm unable to put down into words the reasons I want to pursue this degree without making it sound cheesy... I just feel a bond with those fields ever since I was a kid. Every time there was a documentary regarding the two topics airing on TV I would sit there watch it, getting really absorbed. Back in high school I would receive brilliant grades in History and Art History without too much work because I would study these fields with love, thus never feeling tedium, only excitement and a need to discover and understand more. It never felt like studying, in the old boring sense of the word, it felt like extending my horizons and enriching my whole persona. I want to continue doing this, I want to work in these fields. It's mushy and prosaic but that's what I feel..

How do I change my last name after marrying in a state I'm not resident in?

Never changed my name to married last name on my social security but I'm getting a divorce, what name to use?
