  • Douglas Thornburg is an experienced attorney with a diverse practice, including estate planning, tax, probate and trust administration, charitable and nonprofit organizations, guardianships and conservatorships, marital agreements (prenuptial and postnuptial), and business planning, entity creation and oversight. A primary focus of his practice is helping individuals with estate planning matters; preparation of estate planning documents on behalf of individuals and families, and trusts and probate administration. He has extensive experience in complex individual income, estate, gift and generation-skipping-transfer tax planning and compliance, including representing individuals and entities before the IRS and the preparation of charitable and split-interest trust agreements and the administration of charitable trusts.

Mr. Thornburg has worked with a number of nonprofit organizations in the incorporation of nonprofit organizations and creation of charitable trusts, providing guidance on operational and management issues, preparation of applications for recognition of exemption under Section 501(c)(3), and consultation with the IRS in the Section 501(c)(3)-application process. Mr. Thornburg also handles incorporation and organization of business corporations and limited liability companies, preparation of shareholder agreements, by-laws, and operating agreements, and consultation with business owners concerning corporate and limited liability company issues. He provides guidance to regular and non-profit corporations regarding ongoing operations and legal liability issues and provides business-focused legal support for small, medium, and large businesses and nonprofit corporations in areas including advertising, real estate, corporate governance, employment and benefits issues, and preparation and review of business contracts.

Before moving to St. Louis in 1999, Mr. Thornburg was associated with large firms in New York City and Miami, and still represents clients with regard to both New York and Florida law.

  • In late 1993, Don Paule, Alisse Camazine and Tom Blumenthal, decided to set off on a new endeavor in their practice of law. They each came from a different legal discipline: Don focusing on corporate and estate planning work, Alisse concentrating on domestic relations, and Tom principally handling complex civil litigation. There were few mid-size St. Louis Firms that combined these disciplines together, particularly including domestic relations, so that the lawyers could use the experience of each discipline to enhance the service provided by the others. They set out to create a mid-size law Firm that has the feel of a boutique law Firm without the limitations of a single disciplinary focus. They brought together others they had worked with at other Firms with experience in real estate, intellectual property, insurance defense and tort litigation, and tax law.

Equally important in 1993, no middle or large size law Firm in St. Louis was headed by a woman, or had a woman in the name of the Firm. Even today, only a few middle or large size Firms in the Greater St. Louis Area other than Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal, P.C. boast a woman as one of the named members of the Firm. These commitments to diversity in practice areas and diversity in staff composition became a Firm of 15 experienced lawyers from diverse fields known as Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal, P.C., starting on January 1, 1994, and growing to the Firm it is today.

estate planning

How do you change the template on blogger?

How do you write a letter of extenuating circumstance?

I lose pan card i want pan no. my name is Ramakoteswara Rao Valluri?

If so, is this normal ?.

I am a real estate agent in Baltimore, Maryland and I understand the frustration you are experiencing. I think it is unethical for the agent to fill out a referral card based on a conversation you had with her while interviewing the agent. In any case however I believe you are still in fine shape with the builder you visited. Most builders have certain price point perameters that they have outlined for each unit (a high and low sales point) and the commission referral fee is already represented within these guidelines so I don't think it will damage your position during purchase negotiations.
