• Charles Sipos, a partner in the firm's Litigation group, focuses his practice on class action defense, intellectual property litigation, and appellate advocacy. Charles has represented internet service providers, brick and mortar retailers, software companies, and video game manufacturers in defense of consumer class actions. He has developed particular expertise in the defense of class actions against food manufacturers whose health or nutritional claims are challenged. Charles has obtained dismissals and summary judgment based on federal preemption, lack of standing, failure to prove damages, and related defenses in federal and appellate courts throughout the country, including California, Illinois, and New Jersey. In his intellectual property practice, Charles has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving copyright, trademark, and Digital Millennium Copyright Act claims, and has experience counseling clients regarding protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights and development of anti-counterfeiting programs. Charles also has substantial appellate experience, and has authored briefing at all levels of the Washington and Federal appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Interview them. Remember that realtors work FOR YOU so you should interview several of them and then make a decision. For example just because Sue likes her realtor Randy and he's reputable and trustworthy does not mean that you'll like Randy. We all have different personalities, quirks, communication skills etc, and sometimes what works for others won't work for you. There are about 10 extremely reputable realtors that always come in at the top 1% of my real estate board, but I have many friends who have interviewed them and didn't like them. In the end they chose realtors that aren't even top 10%. Interview them and get a feel for them. See if you like their personality, see if you feel like you can trust them, can you imagine working with them for months at a time, do you think they'd be quick in responding to emails, phone calls, etc, are they pushy or laid back, etc. These things matter and not everyone wants the same type of realtor. So look around and pick one that fits your personality and needs.. . Good luck on the house hunt.

Power of attorney "on" your GF would be given to someone by her so she would know, and she could revoke any power of attorney.. . Now if a court found your GF incompetent to handle her affairs a custodian or guardian might be appointed by a court. If so she would have received papers from the court notifying her. Is she incompetent in some fashion? If a guardian has been appointed that person should be known to her and would have the court order to show her, and she could go to court to get it rescinded, This is not called a power of attorney however.
