I never got a "Legal Guardianship Letter". When we had to go through the courts for guardianship we received a judgment letter from the courts, it looked just like any other court judgment papers from a court proceeding. . When I have done legal guardianship on my own (just myself and the bio-parents working it out on our own) it was a very basic document that had to be notarized, stating that for the term of one year I had the right to care for the child, take responsibility for doctors, schools, all that sort of thing, the only exception is that a legal guardian can not transfer guardianship to a third party, and can't give legal permission for a minor to get married.. Those are the same rules I had for the legal guardianship from the courts also. You can download the legal documents for guardianship to be notarized off of the net, but they don't look anything like the court judgment you receive if you are going through the system.. . By the way, court sanctioned guardianship can't be reversed without the court's approval, but if you do it on your own the bio-parents have the right at any time to cancel the guardianship and have their children back, automatically terminating all of your rights to the child.

I do not know much about Law, I'm just curious to think. If an underage person signs a contract and has no parental or guardian present upon signing the contract, is he/she allowed to or is the contract legal or is it considered as null and void?.

Hi. . I was wondering how old kids start learning how to write letters. Not really their name but mainly letters. i thought they where learning that around 3 as when they go to preschool they usually know how to start to write their name. at my daughter school they do the letters with the kids but i am pretty sure the kids are not practicing the letters as it is writing like an adult does a kid who is a lot older and knows how to write..
