    what is a convergence line?.

Legal requirements to change son's last name in Texas to my new married name?

It's interesting: eight months ago a builder completed my house. His contract clearly states that any overruns had to be approved and signed off by me. I approved of only two overruns. He handed me a bill for $36K.. . I pursued him to pay what I owed but not the items I didn't agree upon. I hired an attorney to check my state laws and was reassured the builder had not followed his own contract. Even after three letters to him I still heard no response.. . After all this time, he has hired an attorney that is acting as a debt collector, bypassing arbitration or court. The attorney states that "although the contract states that overruns must be approved, this state has always allowed the builder to make changes on verbal agreement only." That seems ridiculous. And I never had any verbal exchange regarding these changes.. . What is the outlook on this situation? I'm curious of your opinions and knowledge before I speak with my attorney on Monday. Thanks upfront for any advice..

I was sent an offer from a company to do their taxes. The amount I was offered, in my opinion, was too low. They gave me 10 days to respond so I sent the company a fax the next day asking them if they would consider a higher amount ($200 more than the original offer). Meanwhile, someone else I know told the company they would do their taxes for an even lower amount that what I was originally offered. I immediately faxed another response to the company accepting their original offer. Do they have a legally binding contract to pay me what they originally offered and let me perform this service?.

Where can I get free CSS or XHTML website layouts that I don't have to download? I don't want to download anything because it makes my computer slower, and I don't want to buy anything because I have no money. Please give a link to a site that has free CSS or XHTML website layouts(that don't require downloading)..

You can't reverse it BUT you can change it back again (so "yes" you have to pay the fees).. . In theory you could reverse it only if you prove that proper procedure was not followed.
