He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association). He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, graduating magna cum laude. He then attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He is admitted to practice in Washington D.C., the state courts of Maryland, and the U.S. Federal District Courts of Maryland. Upon graduating from law School, Mr. Abney began his legal career by working for a firm located in Montgomery County, Maryland. After working for the firm for about six months, he decided to pursue his passion and opened his own practice. His main office is still located in Rockville, Maryland and the majority of the firm's work is conducted at this location. In addition to Montgomery County, the firm takes cases in the surrounding counties and the District of Columbia.?

After his military service, and while attending school, Mr. Abney worked for a multinational private sector corporation as a product coordinator in tactical marketing. It is this previous experience that Mr. Abney credits for his understanding of professions and occupations outside of the legal arena. I need help!! My boss wants me to make a form that has a combo box that allows him to pick an employees name. He wants another cell that when you pick the name will default with that employees number. I have tried combo boxs and am not doing something right. Please help. We have version 2003 and I am trying to use a template. Is that creating the problem?.

I really can't tell you why your name has changed, but I can tell you how to change it to a name you want.. . For YA:. Go to your profile by clicking on your avatar, click "edit my info", go to "nickname", mark "use another nickname", type it in the box. You have 22 characters to work with. Click "preview" and then "okay".. . For your mail:. Click "options" (top right) on your mail page, click "general preferences". In "name and e-mail" you may change which name appears in the "from" field for mails you want to send. In "reply to" changes are also possible. Make sure you save your new settings!. . Note: you should sign out and back in again to make sure that the settings are working.. . For the messenger:. Go to your yahoo messenger friends list. Click on messenger, then click on "my contact details", underneath the box in which you could enter your first, last and middle name is a box that says nickname. Enter your new nick, save it and you're done.. . If users already added you to their messenger list and/or address book, your old name setting will continue to get displayed for them. If you want those users to see your new name also, ask them to remove you from their messenger list and/or address book and add you back with your new info.

I've heard about how lawyers (and judges and the bar) stick together. I have an issue with my lawyer. I don't want to sue him, but he lied to me about major aspects of my case (which I can prove through his written emails) which ended up costing me a bigger settlement that makes a significant difference. I don't know what to do about it exactly. I called the bar and they referred me to a legal malpractice attorney whose secretary has left me a message to call back to provide more details, but I don't know if "telling" on my lawyer to another lawyer is going to help resolve things. Can I even trust another lawyer will not call up mine and tell him his client is out to get him? Any thoughts on this?. Thanks for the reassuring answers. I just called the secretary back, she said the attorney had stepped out but wanted her to fax some documents (wasn't clear to me or someone else) and asked if she could call back in 5 min. I feel more confident speaking now, thanks..
