Hi, thanks for your help in advance. I recently made an offer on the house that was on a short sale. Today, my real estate agent called me and said that the bank has sent a counter offer to seller's real estate agent. And seller's real estate agent mailed my agent asking to increase offer by few more thousand dollars. i asked if he can obtain a copy of official counter offer from sellers agent. His reply was that the sellers agent is not entitled to show us the counter offer. And he also said that the communication with banks negotiator is through computer and sometimes the counter offer can not be obtained through the system. Now, this sounds absurd to me. please let me know if this is true. This is my first experience with dealing with real-estate agents..
