• MATTHEW J. FOGELMAN is a founding partner in the firm of Fogelman & Fogelman LLC. A former newspaper reporter, Mr. Fogelman has experience in First Amendment and defamation law, and has represented numerous clients pro bono, including journalists and prisoners in civil rights cases. Mr. Fogelman also served as a Plymouth County Special Assistant District Attorney in March 2004, and has since represented several clients in criminal defense matters and appeals.

  Mr. Fogelman received his B.A. in English from Wesleyan University in 1997, where he was editor-in-chief of the newspaper, the Wesleyan Argus. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2002 where he was a member of the Third World Law Journal.   Mr. Fogelman is a member of the American Bar and Massachusetts Bar Associations, as well as the National Association for Compliance and Licensing Professionals, and the National Association for Alcoholic Beverage Licensing Attorneys. He is also a proud member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association (MELA). He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New York, and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
