The purpose of a cover letter is to identify your intent to apply for a position within a company. The problem you face is that the more general you make the cover letter, the less likely it is to attract the reader's attention and the more you rely upon that reader to "connect the dots" between what you have written and the positions the company needs to fill.. . While it is better to be more specific, I understand the reality of having to mail out a large volume of letters. If you are using a word processor to merge names and addresses into a letter template, my suggestion would be to add one or more additional merge fields for "position title" and the like. That way you can simply merge the company's specific position title into your template's first paragraph.. . Good luck with the job search...

Adoption of change of last name in PA?

Im not a greidy (sp) person by any means, but I am in desperate need of a car. A relative died in my family about a month and a half ago and inheritance are being spread amongst us accord to his Last Will. My Question is, how long does this process normally take?.

you have to change it before she turns a year old otherwise it will cost you. On the back of her birth certificate is a form for what the name currently says on the birth certificate and what it should be. Fill it out and mail it in to the address on the form. If there isnt a form on the back of the birth certificate go to the building where you would normally go pick up a birth certificate and ask them about changing the last name. They should be able to give you a phone number to call. You can only change her last name to either one of the parents last name or a combination of the two. It can't be a now boyfriend, husband or anything like that. Good luck.

he lived in Florida, we are in Ohio, and his only living relatives. So far the lawyer who is handling the estate has given us very little info but we did learn that the lawyer's office will be responsible for removing the contents of our uncle's apartment. If the will designates that the contents be sold and the money divided, there's nothing we can do about that, but there are sentimental items such as photographs, birth certificates, etc. that have no real monetary value, and we have no clue if we might be allowed to keep things like that. Does anyone know how these kinds of things are typically handled? We couldn't get an appointment to meet the lawyer until Monday, and we would like to know a little more about what to expect before we get there.
