• Jennifer Shih is a Litigation Associate at WHGC, P.L.C. Her areas of experience include?complex litigation and intellectual property. As a USPTO Registered Patent Attorney, Ms. Shih is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent & Trademark Office. She represents clients in a wide array of litigation matters including?patent and trademark infringement, business torts and arbitration disputes.?As an important member of our litigation team, Ms. Shih handles all aspects of litigation matters including drafting motions, attending hearings, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements.

  Prior to WHGC, Ms. Shih served as a Litigation Associate at Kidd Carr LLP where she drafted trial motions, and represented clients at depositions and settlement conferences. Ms. Shih earned her Juris Doctor from UC Davis, School of Law and received her Bachelors in Molecular Cell Biology from UC Berkeley. While at UC Davis, Ms. Shih interned with the California Attorney General’s office and the corporate legal department of Fibrogen, Inc., a research-based biotechnology and pharmaceutical company. During law school, she also served as an Articles Selection editor for the Business Law Journal and was a recipient of the Asian Bar Association of Sacramento Law Foundation Scholarship for three years running in recognition of her commitment and contribution to the Asian community.

  Ms. Shih lived in Taiwan for three years and is fluent in Mandarin. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Education Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of the Bay Area and is an avid volunteer for the Asian Pacific Islander Outreach pro bono clinic where she has helped many clients with her bilingual skills in immigration law and landlord-tenant law. During her free time, Ms. Shih enjoys playing piano, running, and walking her dog.
