You could give power of attorney to whomever your daughter lives with (I assume she doesn't live alone), which would be a good idea unless anything else happened that she might need it for. (For example, if she got into an accident and the hospital had to perform emergency surgery or something, they would need a guardian's permission.) You could also emancipate your daughter so she can do it herself.

Hi! My husband is deployed and I am at Fort Carson. I understand TOTALLY about wanting to separate work from time off. In that case I advise you to move to a residential civilian neighborhood if possible. Thankfully Texas real estate isn't that bad and you could probably easily get a VA loan with 0 down as long as you can keep the payments and think its something you are willing to invest in.. . If not then you can rent a house, there are even homes you can lease from a realtor. To be honest, every military town is pretty much MILITARY and it tends to follow everyone in some way or other but if your in a rented house, then at least your not obligated to talk to anyone.

My cousin is in the process of divorce, but I pity him because he is still young and does not know what to do and always confused or lost when talking to a lawyer. He always seek my help calling the lawyer?s office, and reading the document and explaining to him. Well anyway, my question is,,,, can he issue a power of attorney allowing me to represent him or answer for him in his divorce case? Is that possible in divorce? I know someone can issue power of attonrney to someone for real estate transactions? how about in divorce? Basically, what he wants is just to give me power to speak to his lawyer about his case especially when he is abroad. I?m just trying to help?.
