After you price out the entire job, most e-commerce sites will land between 10k-20k to develop over several months for a straight forward site with shopping cart, some custom programming and everything. If they want you to develop just about everything from the ground up and you know it is going to be a very financially heavy site, you can easily go up to 50 k and almost a years worth of work.. .
