Your pictures need to be well lit. If a picture is dark or there are shadows on your face, it's not good. If you are shooting indoors then use a flash.. . I would put the pictures in an 8 x 10 envelope along with a cover letter with your name, contact info and your stats - birthdate, height, bust/waist/hip measurement, inseam measurement. A cover letter should consist of two to three brief paragraphs. You don't want to give a run down of detailed work experience. You should introduce yourself, let them know what position you are applying for and perhaps how you heard about it

Listen to me very carefully, why do you think that you need a LLC to be a photographer? You do not need a LLC or Corporation to be a photographer. Just operate as a Sole Proprietorship. I will tell you why.. . First of all, a LLC is not recognized by the federal government. The LLC will only exist in the state you file it in, and it provides ZERO tax benefits. The IRS will still tax you like a regular person, and so will the state. It's also possible that the state you live in charges a "franchise tax" on LLC's, which means they will TAX YOUR LLC TWICE.. . THERE IS NO BENEFIT TO FORMING A LLC.. . The same goes for S-corps or C-corps. NO BENEFIT FOR YOU.. . If anything, you may be causing yourself more hardship by getting hit with the franchise tax, as well as having to file additional tax returns with the state you live in. Please listen to me, DO NOT DO THIS. Just do your photography work as a Sole Proprietorship. If you are worried about being sued, then purchase umbrella insurance to protect yourself.
