• Trev Peterson joined Knudsen Berkheimer in 1981. His areas of practice are bankruptcy, real estate, banking and commercial trial practice. He is a member of the Lincoln and Nebraska State Bar Associations, Nebraska Association of Bank Attorneys, Bankruptcy Section of the NSBA, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

  Trev is a native of Lincoln and a graduate of the University of Nebraska. He received his B.A. degree with high distinction in 1978, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with high distinction in 1981, and served as an Associate Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.

  Trev and his wife, Sharon, have one child. He is an elder in his church and is active in local politics. Trev's other interests include military history, war gaming and NFL football.

• Knudsen, Berkheimer, Richardson & Endacott enjoys a heritage extending back to 1881, when Jesse B. Strode opened a law practice in Lincoln. Nebraska had been a state for only 14 years. The railroad had arrived and Lincoln was growing rapidly, with a population nearing 25,000. Although the downtown area was beginning to expand, much of the city's commerce was centered in what is now known as the Haymarket Area.

  In 1928, the law firm, which was then headed by Max Beghtol, moved to the newly constructed Stuart Building in downtown Lincoln. A rapidly expanding client base included local businesses, railroads, banks and insurance companies.

  Another respected Lincoln law firm, which eventually became Chambers, Holland, Dudgeon and Beam, was founded in 1908 by retired Judge Edward P. Holmes. The two firms merged in 1971, and in 1976 Knudsen Berkheimer became one of the first tenants in the new Wells Fargo Center at 13th and O Streets.

  The law firm that has now become Knudsen, Berkheimer, Richardson & Endacott operates in the same community as our founder, but in an entirely different world. Automobiles and air travel, fax machines and photocopiers, video cameras and computers--all unknown in Jesse Strode's day--have dramatically changed the way we do business. I think you sign yours and attach the power of attorney to the title. Without it, your signature means nothing and screws up the title.. . But, check with your dmv to be sure.

He is now a registered sex offender, and I've had no contact with him for almost seventeen years.. . My mother passed away last week. Her funeral is planned for this coming Saturday. I have heard from my Aunt (my father's sister) that my father inquired with her about time time and place the funeral is being held. Because I refuse to see the man I asked my husband to go see him and remind him that he is most certainly not welcome. My husband was unfortunate unable to track him down, and currently no one knows where he is.. . I do not want him at the funeral. Neither does anyone else. I have power of attorney over my mother's estate if that makes a difference. I don't know if I can simply call the police or what. Verbal Contract/Agreement?. A person calls a company and orders goods but does not pay for them yet. A couple of minutes later the person tries to cancel the order but the company doesn not answer. The company tries to deliver the goods but the person is not home to recieve them. Then, the company threatens to sue because the person was not home to recieve the goods and therefore the person did not pay.. Can the company win the lawsuit? The goods are about $150. See, I thought that since person didnt recieve the goods the person is therefore not obligated to the terms of the verbal agreement. But I am not sure. So, if the company goes to court, can the company win?. ** The person had agreed to recieve the goods on the day of the incident***. *** the state is Oklahoma**. **** I dont know the name of the company but it is a telivised product, that is all I know about it***. ** Also, the person did try to call more than once but the phone was either busy (which is weird for these types of companies) or the company did not answer. Which is also weird because usually these types of companies have answering machines right?***.
