Im getting sued (long story) and hired a lawyer over a year ago. This has been going on for so long and Ive spent thousands of dollars and we arent anywhere near a conclusion. I owe him $4000 and he sent me a bill stating that he can no longer represent me unless I pay the balance within 10 days. What do I do? I have NO MORE money to pay and I dont want to lose just because i had to back out due to money. I will end up losing way more if I do. Please tell me if you have any advise.
