Does anyone know a good link where I can find an example of a cover letter to send to a casting director? Or have you written one before and landed an audition, would you be able to share some advice with me? Thanks....

    What will he change?.

Could anyone help me with what needs to go in a cover letter with a CV for a summer job? I am just looking for a small part-time job during the summer while I am home from university to gain some experience while at the same time earn a bit of extra money. I am going to hand my CV around a few shops etc. to ask them if they would consider taking on a student over the summer. So what should I put in the cover letter? It can't be specific as I am handing it in to several different places. Should I just write "to whomever it may concern"? And then what should I write? Thanks for any help!! :).

A cover letter gives you an opportunity to show why you are the best person for the job. It should be in a standard business format and contain four parts.. Header: Your address, date, the recipient's name and address.. Introduction: Briefly state the specific position applying for.. Body: Highlight something from your resume that would indicate your interest and value to the employer. Any skills, qualifications or past experience could be noted. . Closing: This concludes or sums up the letter, such as I look forward to hearing from you. Then the closing (Sincerely) followed by your name.. Keep the letter simple, no one is going to read through hundreds of these. Give the employer a reason to read your resume and consider you..

My gandma has had a stoke and is basically comatosed right now. They tried treating her and things went ok at first, then she declined and as I stated is somewhat comatosed now. (unable to talk or communicate, always sleeping). . They moved her to an elderly comfort care facility to rest for her final days (hospice). However we don't agree on the practices of the place because they don't do a feeding tube. We just dont want intervention such as a breating tube or recessitation if its her time to go. We would like it be be as peaceful/natural as possible. We DONT want to sit around knowing her final days she is starving. . The hospice place wont let us do anything about it because they state that we don't have the power of attorney. We just want to aquire it to save her and make sure her final days are more conforting. They call if confort care but it seems like a scam if they wont do anything to feed her!! How do we go about getting POA and does anyone know how much it costs? CA.
