Interested because you want them to have *enough* concern for you to consider your best interest as well as your own.. . Third parties both because you want them to honestly calculate your odds of success and you want to avoid conflicts of interest for both them and you. If an independent party runs the numbers and failure looks likely, you want them to STOP you from making a mistake. On the other hand, if the number look great, you want them back you 100% without taking 100% of the profit.. . Contractual agreement because legal, written documents can be enforced by a judge so easily that regular folks are likely to *refresh* their memories before they continue a nasty fight in the court system.. . *Edit*. . Keep in mind that if you are nice and everything works out for the good, you still have laws to follow. In general, if you are *too* nice, the IRS will call it a gift and tax you on it.

Personally, I find books that are written as letters or journals or even IM's irritating, because more often than not the detail is delivered in unrealistic proportions. If you have ever kept a diary of some sort, you know that you don't begin an entry with "'Aleeeexaandriaaaa! Time from school!' called my mom when it was time for school" -- that is, writing a letter or journal as though it is prose. Frankenstein is a great example of this. Nobody writes ****ing letters that long. Frankenstein is also one of the older books that gets away with it. But I get really cheesed off with modern books that aren't written very well to begin with. As far as your story, I think it's a decent idea, just don't go overboard with the exact details and dialogue. You could also have a surreal edge to some of the story, if the narrator is in an altered mindset and reflecting upon either treatment or the past. And the twin sister writing back is a good idea, but the whole "it's been so long" dribble is a little cliche.

my sentence started "I would think of myself as a....". . The next one is sort of the same but "My friends and peers consider me to be __________ " (blah blah blah. talk about anything to do with subjects you want to do - in this paragraph in mine i also sort of ramble about how i like reading and writing because i took english lit). . . "In my free time, I ...." this was a pretty long paragraph, i listed any stuff i do that is sport related- anything that could be linked together

I know that in a blind trust the executor of said trust is in control of the trust and that the beneficiary has no say over what is done with whatever is in the trust. Can a spouse set up a blind trust so that the other spouse is the executor or does that create a conflict of interest?.
