  • After years of public service, Bradley Keffer and Scott Barnhart elected to use their experience and provide meaningful legal services to individuals. And, with their trial and appellate litigation backgrounds, they formed Keffer Barnhart LLP.

Before beginning Keffer Barnhart, Bradley Keffer attended Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Amongst other positions, Mr. Keffer was a deputy prosecuting attorney at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. As the Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) prosecutor and member of the Special Prosecutions Unit, he handled high profile, major felony cases. It was in his capacity as a government litigator that Bradley Keffer first came to work with Scott Barnhart.

Scott Barnhart, a graduate of Indiana University and a cum laude graduate of the University of Toledo College of Law, served as a deputy attorney general at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. He initially focused on appeals and has argued numerous times before the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court. Mr. Barnhart’s practice evolved to include trial litigation experience in civil rights, administrative law, constitutional law, and personal injury.

Recognizing both their blend of experience and singular focus on litigation, Bradley Keffer and Scott Barnhart formed Keffer Barnhart to provide well-rounded legal services to its clients. Keffer Barnhart is now a central Indiana-based law firm with its main office in Indianapolis. The attorneys at Keffer Barnhart pride themselves on zealously advocating for clients before judges and juries. Keffer Barnhart’s practice areas include: criminal law, civil litigation, DUI law, constitutional and civil rights litigation, personal injury, administrative law, and appellate litigation (civil and criminal).

A person did my taxes yesterday but don?t agree with what he did. He didn?t send them online so we need to send a letter to the IRS. My question is: Can I tear that letter and go to another person who do my taxes and send the correct one?. When you do your taxes if you don?t sent it online there is any other information that they send to the IRS to let them know you did your taxes or the only information is that letter? TY a lot.

Yes and no.. . The only people who have a right to know are the heirs and executor of the will. As the above answer suggests, all assets that go through probate have to be disclosed and can be review at the courthouse.. . I will caution you as someone who deals with wills and estate planing on a regular basis: what people say and what they do are often at odds with each other. If you haven't personally "touched" the accounts in question (when he was alive), then I would not assume they ever existed. (a) People talk a better game than they actually have all the time and (b) in financial matters spouses make arrangements without consulting the kids all the time.

Why are cliches stupid? Because they are untrue.

You have the exact information you need. It's just listed in bullet points as opposed to sentence form.

If you want to do it the correct way you should have a third party do the delivery of the package and have the third party get a receipt such as DHL, Fed X or someone other than the regular mail. There are plenty of delivery companies in the telephone book.. . The recipients will be looking out for that type service but perhaps not for the ones listed.. . So you might try those services since you need proof that they parties you are trying to sue are served.

where can I find a warning of termination sample letter?
