  • The Right Firm for Your Legal Needs

Choosing the right law firm to handle your case can be difficult. You know that big law firms have a reputation for experience, but will your case get lost in the shuffle of a large firm? Will your case be handled by an experienced attorney only at the beginning and then get handed off to a paralegal or junior associate attorney?

You know that small law firms are known for their personal service and responsiveness, but do they offer the experienced representation you need?

Silverman, Vorhis & Doan - Experience and Personal Service

At The Law Office of Silverman, Vorhis & Doan in Gainesville, Florida, we offer the best of both worlds. We offer the experience of two former prosecutors that have handled thousands of criminal cases and have the trial experience to effectively protect your rights in a divorce, personal injury lawsuit or civil litigation.

As a small firm of two attorneys and a helpful support staff, we offer the personal service that people need. Our attorneys work closely with our clients, take time to educate them about the law, return calls promptly, and keep clients informed throughout the duration of their case. When you are dealing with us you are not dealing with an oversized legal services provider, you are dealing with two dedicated attorneys and a caring support staff that are here to help you find solutions to difficult legal challenges.

    A Diverse and Dynamic Practice

We are both former prosecutors that have considerable trial experience in criminal law cases. That trial experience serves our clients well in the areas of divorce and family law, personal injury and general civil litigation. What each of these practice areas has in common is the likelihood, and in some instances the inevitability, of litigation. Our attorneys have each gained invaluable trial experience in their capacity as former local prosecutors.

As experienced negotiators and trial lawyers, our attorneys have the ability to provide the aggressive and comprehensive legal representation you require.

I have read through many of the posts here to try and find the answer to my question, but I didn't find what I was looking for.. . Here it is. I am creating a website. I have the idea, the content, domain, hosting and plenty of things to make it successful. But here is the problem. I don't know how to get it from my head to my website. Now several years ago I had a site but I was blessed with people who helped me out. The site I purchased, the content was loaded for me and I had a fellow site owner offer to redesign it for me. So, design is not my strong point but the actually operations is my specialty.

What a great way to write a proposal to a company, school or city for contract work?

The surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing is going through extensive medical care to save his life. . Who will foot the bill, the taxpayers?. If so, why? It costs a lot of money to obtain the arsenal of bombs that the two had. Reportedly they even had hand grenades and / or other kinds of explosives to throw at police when they were being chased.. Will their families be given the bill?. Also who will pay for their legal defense in court?. '? Hunch," that is interesting info.. It seems you are saying that if a student at that university can't provide his/her own insurance s/he is required to take "this"insurance which I guess is some kind of insurance provided by the university.. That is a bit vague but if it means what I think it does, isn't there some kind of law or rule at least regarding the fact that the suspect's injuries were due to him engaging in illegal activity not to mention dangerous activity? . Regular insurance would not provide coverage for smokers, or that is what I best understand. Isn't there some issue regarding the fact that his ( or maybe the universality's ) insurance plan won't pay because the injuries that the insured person sustained were because of his engaging in potentially self harming activities?.

Thanks :).
