• Campbell Kyle Proffitt LLP has been an integral part of the Hamilton County community since 1915. In that year, Yale educated Cassius M. Gentry and Michigan University graduate Frank S. Campbell opened the law firm of Campbell and Gentry, an unusual beginning since in those days it was not the norm for lawyers to be law school educated. Most became lawyers by reading law in the office of another lawyer. Since its inception, the firm's name has changed several times, but its reputation for honesty, fairness and competence remain unchanged. Platted by William Connor in 1823, Noblesville was a small, thriving community by 1915 with many retail outlets, but the community was primarily agricultural. The county, by 1915, had seen a significant increase in the value of farmland and the cost per acre had risen from almost nothing to $150.00 to $200.00 an acre.

hi all. i was asked to write a cover letter in an application for an internship programme, stating why it would be a mutually positive experience. could anyone give me any useful pointers on what i can include in the cover letter to stand out from the rest of applicants?. . thank you very much!.

I can't help you with specific quotations, but I can help you with where to look for more than a couple of these.. . Read Chapter 16 again. I remember this from my childhood which is almost 68 years ago. Huck and Jim are going where they think is north. (Actually they are going south which is the last place a slave would want to go.). . In Chapter 16 they have time to talk. Jim is experienced in the way of the world and he is a family man on top of it.. . They are talking about whether or not Solomon was wise. Everyone who has read the old testament believes that Solomon was the wisest worldly character in the Bible. Jim emphatically disputes that. He considers solomon to be a nincompoop and those who believe in the kings wisdom also to be nincompoops.. . Jim argues that Solomon had no idea about the value of children. He had a thousand of them so what was 1 more or less in the world? Jim is debunking our notion of a larger than life character. (point 1). . Jim is revealing the ordinary Joy of a parent he feels about having just 1 or 2 children. He values his children because he has a quality that that every good parent (including Mark Twain himself) has of valuing the relatively few children of the ordinary person. (Point Two). . You will have to look in another place for point 3.. . Think how peaceful Huck and Jim are. (Point 4). Jim has time to teach the real values, good values, about life. These values don't come out of a book (as Tom Sawyer would have you believe). Nor do they come from the Bible. (OmyGosh -- Blaspheme). They come from living a decent life. Jim is a decent man leading a decent life even if he is a slave. (Point 4). . Now the last one you can find in 16 for yourself. Almost any quotation will do that shows how Jim Speaks and how Huck does. Huck is 1/2 civilized and half not. Jim is the natural man and not civilized in the conventional sense at all. Each has his own speech patters. Quote anything to show it. (Point 4). . If you get the fact that Jim is the teacher and Huck the student, you will go a long way in understanding this wonderful chapter.
