  • Originally from New Orleans, Ms. Eastman-Stuart relocated to the Northwestern portion of the country - living in Montana, Colorado, Idaho and Oregon - before returning to graduate high school in Louisiana. She then attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, with minors in History and Biology. During her time at Southeastern University Ms. Eastman-Stuart was named to the Dean's List numerous times. She was also a member of the Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society and the Phi Alpha Theta Honors History Society.? She pursued a Master's degree in history, before switching gears and attending Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center and earning her Juris Doctorate degree in 2001.

    Shannon began her practice as an indigent defender, representing clients in felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile proceedings. Shannon left this area of practice with a winning trial record and having successfully obtained several favorable appellate decisions for her clients. In 2005, Shannon began practicing in the area of personal injury with a large plaintiff firm in New Orleans, Louisiana, and more recently relocated to a personal injury firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
