• Mr. Scholz is a business lawyer with broad and deep experience in corporate and financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, including creditor's rights.   He is past Chair of the Maryland State Ethics Commission, a regulatory commission that interprets and enforces Maryland's ethics law for public officials, state employees and lobbyists. He is also past president of the Johns Hopkins Club and has served on Greater Baltimore Committee's Public Safety Committee as well as the Board of the Calvert Institute for Policy and Research.
