  • Attorney J. Brian Carney grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts. He graduated from Harvard University (B.A. English) in 1997 and New England Law (Juris Doctor) in 2003. Prior to attending Law school he worked as a Public school teacher in Somerville, Billerica and Winthrop. He also proudly worked as a taxi driver in and around Boston while he attended Law School and studied for the bar exam.

After being sworn in as an Attorney for the State of Massachusetts, Attorney Carney worked as a prosecutor for the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. He tried to verdict 49 jury trials in just a 12 month period as a prosecutor. By trying so many cases Attorney Carney was able to hone his trial skills against some of the Commonwealth’s best trial attorneys. In 2008 He left the district attorney’s office. Believing that the best defense truly is a good offense, he took his aggressive trial style with him.

He? has since successfully? defended his clients against a full range of criminal charges, including: drug crimes? possession, possession with intent to sell and distribution , guns, assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon and other related violent charges,? Defense of domestic violence charges and assistance either obtaining or fighting a restraining order, Shoplifting and larceny,? Drunk driving defense? for first time offenders and repeat offenders, other motor vehicle offenses ? Includes driving offenses such as speeding, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license, driving with license suspended and other traffic offenses.

Attorney Carney’s life experience has afforded him a unique understanding of the challenges some of his clients face. He knows that often the battles are fought and won not just in the Courtroom but outside with the aid of detox and rehab facilities, meetings and counseling, sober houses and halfway houses. Attorney Carney is able to direct the client with such a need to the right resources and? the right people who know what it takes to get that part of the battle won.

Attorney Carney has represented clients in Bristol, Middlesex, Norfolk, Hampden, Worcester, Plymouth, and Suffolk Superior Courts.? He has also represented clients in the following district courts:? Attleboro, Barnstable, Brockton, Dedham, Fall River, New Bedford, Orleans, Plymouth, Quincy, Stoughton, Taunton, Waltham, Wareham, Worcester, Martha’s Vineyard, Wrentham, Springfield, Holyoke, Chicopee, Somerville, Cambridge, and East Brookfield.

He is a staunch believer in the words of Clarence Darrow; “The only real lawyers are trial lawyers, and trial lawyers try cases to juries”

What happens after a service mark has assigned to an examining attorney?. How long should I expect to wait now that my mark has been assigned to an examining attorney? I filed the mark in March, and it was just assigned two days ago to the examining attorney. What happens next?.

I wanna aply in this job where they want me to send them email.. how do i format it and what should i put on my cover letter? how should i address it when i don't know who in particular i am emailing?.

who can link me an excample of a letter of intent?

Any experts in getting a new job?

How do I change my son's last name on his birth certificate? The person who adopted him is now deceased?

I've been writing with a group called Tell Them Thanks for a while now. It's a GREAT group dedicated to supporting all the troops!. . You just fill out a short form online and then they send you the name and APO of a serviceman. You write to that person for the duration of their tour. You are only required to write one letter a month, but more are always welcome. As are care packages, but they aren't required.. . They also have a really cool forum online where we can all come together to chat about our care packages and if/when we ever get letters back from our "thankees.". . Happy Writing!!
