As a rule, illegitimate children shall use the surname and shall be under the parental authority of their mother (Article 176, Family Code). However, as an exception, illegitimate children may use the father's surname if there has been an acknowledgement / recognition by the father (Art. 172, Family Code

the start is too mundane. The first thing I think you should do write it in a more active voice and then start tightening the prose. Please don't send this out to anyone because it needs lots of editing. Find a few critique partners (who are also writers) who can give you a line-by-line to help you tighten. the second thing you're doing is adding too much info to the query. Stick to the main plot and the main character and just enough info so that the agent won't be confused about what your book is about, but also not too much info so that it reads more like a synopsis ratther than a query. I think you're digging too much into the plot and some of it can be left out. The agent will get the full story if they ask for a synopsis or read the full ms. I'm assuming you'll shape-up the grammar because there's a lot of issues. those things can be corrected last, once you get what you want to say and how to say it in order. This is closer to a synopsis, not a query. are you giving the ending and plot twists? If so, delete them. They don't belong in the query. Keep the query in present tense. You need to make the editing decisions that are so hard to make: Which info is important for the query. Keep your query focused on the main character and the plot. don't go into excruciating details that don't matter. This will make your query shorter and more compact. think of these questions as you write the query: who is the main character?, what does she want?, what happens if she fails? make it sound so interesting that the agent will HAVE to know what happens and will request pages. Keep your grammar & prose tight and have very few errors. I'd give you some suggestions of what I think you should cut, but I don't have the space for it in this post. If you rewrite it, and I come across your post then I'll give it another shot. THIS IS AN OPINION

I want to change my first and second name legally, however I'm not sure of the process or how difficult it is to update documents such as passport and driving licence to the new name. Also I'm not sure of the costs, the website doesn't make it clear. Is there anyone who has legally changed their name who can help me out?.

Im studying for my history final and I came across the French revolution. I dont know what is the difference between estate system and estate general, but I do know that they have to do with three different estates, first estate, second estate, and third estate. Also, I would like to know which people go into which estate? please help! Thank You!.

What should I include?.

I wouldn't know. I do know that 5 years of intensive investigation by the Bush administration could only come up with 86 people to indict, and only 2 of them actually committed VOTER FRAUD. The rest were registration "fraud", which included people registering twice because they lost their voter card and thought they had to reregister to get a new one.. . Meanwhile, the Republicans are trying to do away with the apportioned electoral vote in Nebraska and institute it in Pennsylvania. And in Colorado, the Attorney General has told election clerks not to send mail in ballots to soldiers on active duty abroad. Still wanna talk about voter fraud and who's attacking whom?
