  Blaney was the lead lawyer defending Vizio against infringement allegations on four patents from LG (In the Matter of Certain Video Displays, Components Thereof, and Products Containing the Same, Investigation No. 337-TA-687). Blaney also took a lead role in trying the patent infringement defense of several semiconductor manufacturers concerning their ball grid array (BGA) packaging products before the ITC (In re Certain Semiconductor Chips with Minimized Chip Package Size and Products Containing Same, Investigation No. 337-TA-605). He has had similar leading roles in enforcing digital camera portfolios (Eastman Kodak Company v. Sony, et al., Civil Action No. 04-CV-6095T(F)), defending infringement regarding integrated circuit (MEMs) accelerometers in Sercel (Input/Output, Inc. et al. v. Sercel, Inc., Case 5:06-cv-00236-DF-CMC) and in defending against claims concerning internet infrastructure equipment (Tantivy Communications, Inc. v. Lucent Technologies, Inc., Civil Action No. 2-04-CV79 (TJW)).

In case of educational documents certificates/diplomas/degrees etc, State Governments have now opened Regional Authentication Centers (RACs) at various States from where the document should first be attested. Documents attested by these authorities then need to be presented to MEA for issue of Apostilles. Once these educational certificates & this affidavit regarding change of name are properly apostilled you can use them for your US visa purpose. This the latest legal position with regard to use of any personal or educational certificate for any foreign transaction including seeking visa on the basis of these documents. Once these documents are properly apostilled as told above there won?t be any objection with regard to their authentication from any foreign agency including US immigration department.
