Try to list skills and use the same phrasing that is used in the job posting. Using the same phrasing might help you out if they are using scanning software to sort out a stack of resumes. It also shows you are paying attention to their needs or corporate culture.. . 3) Since you don't have a long job history your resume should be kept to one page.. If you did have a longer job history you may want to tailor your resume for specific jobs. If you have retail and office expierence and are applying for another retail position you may want to extend the section in your retail job. If you are applying for an office position you may want to shorten the retail section and expand on the office section. But the normal procedure for most people would probably be to bring it to city hall for the city clerk, city deputy clerk or city treasurer to sign. You could bring it to a lawyer but that would probably cost more.
