    Dear So And So

Thanks 10 points.. I can't patent yet, i am at initial stages without anything only concept, this is only in relation to non-disclosures thanks..

    Gifts for my mother...?

what can my land lord ask me about my service dog?

I have gone by my middle name for a while, and never use my first name except for legal documents. I was going to just drop my first name and go from Sara Nicki Smith to Nicki Smith Jones (not my real names). Is this harder than just adding my fiances name on the end of my name? Has anyone else done this, or know how to go about doing it this way? Thank you!.

You could speak to your local Business Link about your business and ask them if they have any templates for terms and conditions. If you are selling your services on-line, you also have to comply with the Distance Selling regulations. Trading Standards has information on those.. . Your contract needs to define who you are, what you provide for the purchaser, what the purchaser's responsibility is, payment terms, guarantee/refund policy, law governing the contract in the event of a dispute and your trading name, address and VAT number. Check out the T&C's of other businesses - they don't have to be in the same field as you. Most follow the same format so you should be able to see the things to include.. . You say you don't have enough money to go to a solicitor but, if your contract has any loopholes in it, it won't hold up in the event of a dispute and that could cost you a lot of money. If you're selling your sites at ?1000 each, you should be able to take out some money to pay for a solicitor to check over what you've drawn up. Do most of the work yourself so that you only need them to make small amendments. Business Link may be able to advise you on who to go to for this.. . Do you have a decent insurance policy? Professional indemnity cover may be worth considering. It depends on what you want to protect in your contract. Is it to ensure that you're paid on time or what? If you're worried about payment, the Late Payment regulations mean that you can charge statutory interest on any accounts outstanding over 30 days. Make sure that shows on your invoices.. . Good luck!
