Formal complaints are a last resort and may not have the effect that you are desire. First talk to your colleague and explain that you don't like what she is doing and ask her to to stop. Don't threaten further action.. . If that doesn't work then have a meeting with your boss and explain the problem and the steps that you have taken to try to fix the situation. At this point don't make a formal complaint but just ask if your boss can assist to improve the situation.. . Only if these steps don't work should you consider making a formal complaint.
