Myself I am of the opinion that letters are great, assuming they are created using great punctuation and spelling (always use a spoil chequer!). You can get some great guidance for writing letters by following the resource in the box below, it's got plenty of other info about job hunting aswell.

I'm not against health care reform and insurance reform so long as it results in a better health care system for those Americans under the age of 65 for less money per person per year.. . What you are seeing at these Town Hall meetings are individuals are against health care reform if it means the introduction of a viable public insurance option that will require private health insurance companies to compete for policyholders on matters of cost such as the premium charged, co-pays, deductibles, limits on hospital stays, et cetera. Wittingly or not, these protesters do not want the system of health care for those under the age of 65 to be any more affordable or efficient than it is today.. . The second group that have started to show up are those who benefit from the single payer system known as Medicare. They believe that reform means "death councils" and other nonsense and they seem to have gotten that idea from listening to conservative crackpot media which appear on Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. Of course when such political luminaries as former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa (R-Ethanol) repeat this lie it has an even more pronounce effect because there is some smallish segment of Americans who actually take them and their comments seriously.. . Health care reform for those under 65 as gotten mixed up with fear mongering about the Medicare system which is unsustainable in the future at the rate resources are depleted in the last 60 days, or so, of a senior's life. So Grassley, who has always been a two-bit huckster in seersucker, and Palin, who I believe still fancies herself as a fiscally conservative Reagan Republican who still has a viable political future, are essentially saying to all Americans under the age of 65, and particularly those under the age of 55, that they're fine with runaway Medicare spending bankrupting the Medicare system or raising taxes on them to pay for all the medical and hospital care that seniors want in America with no limits.. . This is an interesting and possibly seismic shift in American politics because it really gets into the issue of which generation pays for all the expensive health care and surgical procedures and rehabilitation and for the enormously expensive medications when the senior patient's health outcome cannot be improved or even maintained for a given period of time, and let's just say for 6 months from the date of intervention for the sake of discussion.. . Clearly the GOP, or certain prominent members of the GOP, the party of fiscal responsibility, is saying that it's the younger generations of Americans who must do their duty and pay the bills for Medicare without question even as their own premiums for private health care insurance skyrocket from year to year and jeopardize their ability to provide for the legitimate needs of their own family.. . I don't expect this political fight into which senior Americans are no being drawn is going to go smoothly since this is not a country that values any discussion about the financial cost of providing end-of-life care to any American let alone a senior American.. . Take care.
