She has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients in counties throughout California. In 2013, Ms. Derish obtained one of the largest medical negligence verdicts in California ($38.6 million) on behalf of a young man who was rendered quadriplegic due to the delay in diagnosis and treatment of a stroke.

Ms. Derish went to medical school at the University of California at San Diego and completed a pediatric internship, residency, and critical care fellowship at the Stanford University Medical Center. • EXPERIENCED CALIFORNIA PERSONAL INJURY LAWYERS

Established in 1959, we are one of the premier personal injury firms in the western United States. For over five decades our personal injury attorneys have successfully represented injured people, and in the process have established new law and used personal injury litigation to compel corporations to produce safer products. As leaders in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, our attorneys have helped shape liability law, while securing millions of dollars in financial compensation for injured clients.

We represent clients of diverse backgrounds who have suffered serious and catastrophic injuries, and family members of loved ones lost in accidents throughout Northern California. Our practice is, and always has been, dedicated to representing injured plaintiffs. We do not represent insurance companies or corporations, and we do not represent defendants in personal injury or wrongful death litigation. Our primary goal is getting justice for injured individuals, and securing financial compensation to make them whole.

what's wrong with my resume?

I'm 20. Out of high school, my plan was to get a full time job, live with my parents, and pay my way through college.. . I got a job (35 hr/wk) and enrolled in college. I was able to do this for a couple semesters with the help of some much appreciated grant money...but then my mom got a job, which made my family's income go up, and I didn't get a penny of grant money the next year. I was going to community college, of course. But still, without the grant money, I was paying about $5,000 a year, out of pocket. My parents will not help me out with school, and they will not co-sign a loan, either. I have since stopped going to school this semester, in order to save up some more money, because I couldn't afford it this semester.. . Our home life has gotten more and more troubling. While I appreciate that my parents were letting me live rent-free for awhile, things have gotten rocky. There have been some incidences (even after I've turned 18) where my dad has slapped me, pulled my hair, thrown stuff at me & pushed me to the ground... however, nothing that left a mark. However I am not a child, and do not appreciate getting hurt out of anger. This alone makes me want to move out. Once my dad has even thrown a bucket of dirty water at me for making my mother upset by asking if she would consider going to family counseling with me. My dad is always yelling at me, and always putting me down, and threatening to hurt me. Recently, my little sister did something he disapproved of, and he literately beat her until she urinated on herself. Being around my dad seriously gives me bad anxiety.

what's the difference between application letter and cover letter?

want contacts of insurnace companies dealing in Medical insurance.

Obama never said health care costs would ?go down? immediately. He said it would ?curb the cost curve,? which means it?d ?slow down? the fast ?rise? in healthcare costs.. . The Public Option would do quite a bit to bend that curve. Unfortunately, right-wing fear-mongering scared the crap out of people. 75% were in favor of the public option in April 2009. By the end of the summer, people were split. But 1/3 of exit poll voters in 2010 said it hadn?t gone far enough, meaning they favored the public option or wanted single-payer. The middle was split, and the righties called it ?socialism,? even though the Individual Mandate was a Republican idea in the 90?s.

Anyone done this and why?. Good idea? Bad idea?.
