I'm really finding out that if someone wants medical information that they normally would not have access to, just let them deny a claim to pay for it and then make you fill out appeal forms stating the reasons why they need it and the entire medical reasons for the need for them and then even have to submit those records directly from their medical records to them before they will cover the cost. And keep denying payment until they ou think they have all of them. So much for the privacy laws.. . Insurance companies will deny a claim, the largest claim that they may have received from a provider. for the patient just because they want to know if the patient has any other insurance. They should not be allowed to do this. They should send a separate letter telling the patient that they need this information. How many ordinary people know medical coding. This is another reason for denied claims...the coding is wrong. How about receiving bills from the provider that the insurance has covered and you have proof they did (need copier).. It has gotten to the point that the burden of proof is on the caregiver and patient for everything. The insurance and provider don't communicate. The caregiver and the patient are stuck trying to handle all of this, even when they don't know the reasons for denial or how to resolve the problem to get a claim paid. So much for the HIPAA laws.. Having an advance directive is almost mandatory if you want to keep your sanity.

Warren Jeffs will do and say anything to save his skin. He's very skillful at playing off one faction against another, while playing the middle off both sides and then some. Why? Practice. Its going to take some very smart, savvy, finely tuned men to prosecute him, and keep him in jail. Both the anti-mormonism and mormon sides pull the curse of Joseph Smith on the US government out off the library shelves at opportune times. Including me, including mormons. Neither of us can manipulate that prophecy, false or true, by ourselves. I know I have no power in myself to do anything about it. They know they have no power in themselves to do anything about it. We both know their church leaders most certainly have all the financial and legal power at their beck and call to manipulate it into position, making it appear to come true, if they chose to.
